One of the best arborvitae varieties for cold climates, it retains its deep, dark green color in winter when many others look yellow-brown.  Grows to a height of 30' with a span of 10'. Prefers deep, well-drained soils and full sun.  Makes excellent hedges, accents or foundation plantings.

This fast growing, hardy specimen is narrow and cone-shaped.  Its soft foliage is bright green and its shape is easily maintained through pruning.  It grows to a height of 25' and a width of 8'.  Prefers full sun.










Techny Arborvitae

A fast growing, dark green evergreen growing to 15' with a width of 8'.  It is excellent for screens and tall sheared hedges.  Very winter hardy and good in sun or light shade. 










Woodward Globe Arborvitae

This rich green globular evergreen maintains its shape without trimming.  Growing to 5' it is good in full sun or light shade.










Labrador Tea

A small woody shrub native to the boreal forests of Canada, its narrow, leathery dark green leaves are evergreen, but wilt in the fall releasing a strong evergreen aroma.  It bears a cluster of white flowers in spring and grows to a height of 1.5' with a span of 1.5'.  It prefers partial to full shade and moist to wet soils, but is tolerant of nutrient poor, acidic soils.
